The University of Southern California (USC) is a private research university located in Los Angeles, California. Founded in 1880, USC has an enrollment of approximately 48,500 students across its 21 schools and colleges. Its historic campus covers 225 acres and is home to renowned academic programs such as the Marshall School of Business, the Keck School of Medicine, Viterbi School of Engineering, Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, and the Thornton School of Music.
