Strauss, Graham "Jack" Jackson, and W. M Clarence ("Moe") Lewis in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Pep Boys offer vehicular parts such as tires, aftermarket car accessories; auto repair services including brakes and oil changes; commercial fleet management solutions; mobile installing van services for car audio products; and also provides vehicle inspections along with other professional services related to vehicle maintenance needs. The company underwent several ownership changes throughout its history until 2019 when it was purchased by Bridgestone Americas Inc., making it a subsidiary of one of world's largest tire makers with global operations headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
