Scott and White
Scott & White Healthcare is a not-for-profit healthcare system based in Temple, Texas. Founded as the Scott & White Clinic in 1897 by Drs. Arthur C. Scott and Ralph W. White, it has grown to become one of the largest healthcare systems in the state of Texas with more than 600 physicians and 19 medical facilities, including hospitals, clinics, specialized centers and physician practices located throughout Central Texas. It is an integrated teaching hospital system that combines faculty from its clinical departments with educational services administered by Texas A&M Health Science Center's College of Medicine while also providing care for more than 1 million people annually through its health plan division, Scott & White Health Plan . The system also offers a range of clinical services such as primary care, radiology, neurology and oncology along with access to some of the most advanced diagnostic imaging tools available.
