Pilgrims Pride
Pilgrims Pride is the largest chicken producing company in the US, with operations plant-based locations throughout in Texas, Georgia, and Arkansas. It was established in 1946 as a small cold storage business owned by Aubrey and Claudine Gladney but has since grown to become one of the leading poultry producers in the country. In 2002, it merged with other companies to become part of Pilgrim's Corporation, which eventually became a subsidiary of JBS S.A., Brazil’s largest food company. Today, it operates farms and processing plants that are focused on producing cooked chicken products for retail customers across the United States. With their state-of-the-art facilities and commitment to quality control standards, Pilgrims Pride consistently provides customers with fresh and safe produce at competitive prices while minimizing their environmental impact.
