Nebraska Furniture Mart
Nebraska Furniture Mart is a family-owned home furnishing store founded by Russian immigrant Rose Blumkin in 1937. As the largest furniture store in North America, Nebraska Furniture Mart is known for selling furniture, flooring, appliances and electronics at discounted prices. It got its start as a tiny shop on North 24th Street in Omaha and now operates five retail stores: three large superstores located in Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska and Texas; and one small clearance outlet in Lincoln. The company has also expanded into e-commerce with NFM.com, which offers even more products across the country. In 2019 Nebraska Furniture Mart launched plans to expand into Texas with a 1.3 million-square foot supercenter near Dallas that should open later this year. With over 80 years of experience offering low prices and exceptional service, Nebraska Furniture Mart continues to offer consumers quality merchandise at an unbeatable value.
