Manhattan College
Manhattan College is a Lasallian Catholic college located in the Riverdale neighborhood of the Bronx, New York. Founded by five French De La Salle Christian Brothers in 1853, Manhattan College has provided quality education to its students for over 165 years. The college offers 40 majors and concentrations across its four schools - Arts, Business, Education & Health, and Science - as well as a number of master's degree programs. Currently, more than 3,500 undergraduate and graduate students from around the world attend Manhattan College each year. With an emphasis on liberal arts tradition emphasizing service to others and engaging with global issues and perspectives on humanity, faculty members strive to provide rigorous academic preparation that meets professional standards while remaining attentive to ethical considerations within their students' lives. The student body also benefits from various activities such as clubs and organizations spanning all areas of scholarship along with service learning opportunities that allow them to apply classroom knowledge into practical settings throughout New York City.
