Krystal is an American fast food chain that was founded in 1932 by Rody Davenport Jr. and J. Glenn Sherrill in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Focusing on hamburgers and hot dogs, the restaurant was the first to offer square-shaped burgers which have become their signature product known as 'Krystals'. The company has evolved over the years to include a range of other products such as chicken sandwiches, French fries, milkshakes and breakfast items. Krystal has also grown from its original location to now include outlets throughout the southeastern United States with some locations stretching out into Kentucky, Georgia and Mississippi.
