Capital Health System
Capital Health System is a community-based, not-for-profit hospital system located across Central and Southern New Jersey. It was established in 1889 when the former Mercer Medical Center merged with Fuld Hospital, creating Capital Health System. In 2014, The Medical Center at Princeton became part of the system and in 2019, Capital Health opened its third acute care hospital - Capital Health Cancer Center in Ewing Township. Today, the health system includes two acute care hospitals which offer medical services, as well as more than 25 satellite locations and 100+ outpatient facilities for primary and specialty care. It offers advanced technology such as robotic surgery programs and has award-winning heart care centers to provide comprehensive patient care services close to home.
