Belen Jesuit Preparatory School Inc.
Belen Jesuit Preparatory School, Inc. is a private Jesuit all-male college preparatory school located in Miami, Florida. Founded in 1854 by Marist Brothers as Colegio de Belén, the school began its operation as an elementary school of less than 150 students and has grown to encompass more than 1,400 students from grade 6 through 12. As one of the oldest Catholic schools in Florida and the first educational institution established by Jesuits in Cuba, it offers a rigorous curriculum rooted in spiritual formation and academic excellence that enables their predominantly Hispanic student body to become successful global citizens. In addition to providing an exceptional education based on Roman Catholic values and ethics centered around faith integration into day-to-day life activities, Belen also provides opportunities for extracurricular activities such as sports teams (including baseball, basketball, soccer), clubs (such as drama club and music) service learning projects/internships and leadership development experiences.
