Founded in 2020 as a spin-off of AECOM's Defense and Intelligence Group, the company provides expertise to national security agencies including the U.S. Department of Defense, other government organizations and other customers in commercial markets worldwide. With roots dating back to 1898 when it was established as The Delaware Consulting Engineers Company, its mission has been to provide engineering services and technical solutions on projects ranging from munitions plants during World War II through bridge repair after disasters such as Hurricane Katrina today. In 2009, the company expanded its capabilities into areas such as program management logistics support, base operations infrastructure maintenance and environmental remediation—becoming one of the largest providers for these services throughout the world with over 25 offices located around the globe.
