Steel Dynamics, Inc. is a leading U.S.-based manufacturer of steel products and metal recycling services that has been in existence since 1993. Their main operations include sophisticated manufacturing and processing capabilities primarily for the automotive, construction, appliance and electrical markets throughout the world. With corporate headquarters located in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Steel Dynamics operates seven state-of-the-art steel mini mills across North America that resulted from strategic acquisitions made during 1998 - 2000. They have also acquired three metal recycling centers which allow them to purchase scrap metals from their customers directly. Annual production capacity ranges from 8 million tons of raw steel to 11 million tons for semi finished and finished products.
