Saint Francis Health System, Inc. is a non-profit healthcare system based in Tulsa, Oklahoma that serves 47 counties in northeastern Oklahoma and southeastern Kansas. It was founded in 1960 as Saint Francis Hospital by the Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother with 25 beds. In 2009, it merged with Hillcrest Health Care System to expand its reach throughout northeast Oklahoma, becoming the third largest health care system between Arkansas and Colorado at the time. Today, it includes five hospitals, a cancer center and radiation therapy center, numerous specialty clinics including cardiology and neurosciences clinics, home health services for elderly patients, an aviation program providing lifesaving treatment for patients across multiple states or regions and much more. It employs around 4500 people across all their facilities to provide quality holistic patient care within communities they serve.
