The original Hard Rock Cafe was established in London in 1971 by Peter Morton and Isaac Tigrett as part of the American-music themed restaurant chain. It quickly grew into an international brand and was later moved to the United States in 1982. In 1995, Peter Morton purchased Hard Rock America from Rank Group Plc and built the first Hard Rock Hotel on Paradise Road in Las Vegas.
