Eldorado Resorts, Inc., founded in 1996 as a hotel and casino business, is an entertainment company based in Reno, Nevada. It develops, operates and acquires gaming facilities throughout the United States. At present, it owns and operates twenty-four properties across eleven states with more than 28,000 slot machines, VLTs and nearly 600 table games as well as over 11,500 hotel rooms. The company also owns four horse racetracks with related pari-mutuel wagering operations. Eldorado has grown significantly since its founding and has made several acquisitions as part of this growth strategy including MTR Gaming Group (2014), Isle of Capri Casinos (2017) and Tropicana Entertainment (2018). The most recent acquisition is Caesars Entertainment Corporation which was completed in July 2020. This makes Eldorado Resorts one of the largest gaming companies in the US with 59 properties across 16 states generating approximately $3 billion in annual revenues.
