Denso International America, Inc.
Denso International America, Inc. (DIAM) is a subsidiary of the largest automotive parts supplier in the world, Denso Corporation. DIAM operates in North, Central, and South America to support core business operations including sales, marketing and research and development of gasoline systems, engine management systems and electronic components for automotive applications. Founded in 1979 as an independent trading company with headquarters initially located in California, USA; DIAM has since expanded to 24 locations across North America, Mexico and Brazil with more than 6300 employees. To provide its global customers with reliable products that cannot be found anywhere else has been a consistent goal of DIAM’s product strategy which also includes global standardization initiatives. The current president of DIAM is Mr. Urata Nobuhiko who holds a master’s degree from Tokyo University and prior to becoming President was responsible for various positions within DENSO Corp., culminating as Director at one time.
