Amf Bowling Centers, Inc.
Amf Bowling Centers, Inc., a company founded in 1946, is one of the world's largest bowling center operators and manufactures for the bowling industry. Originally named American Machine and Foundry Company, it specialized in producing machinery for commercial purposes. In 1952, AMF started to expand its operations into the leisure market by introducing automated pin-setting machines to bowling alleys. By 1957 this transition was complete as AMF had become a major provider of both bowling equipment and services. The company formally adopted "AMF Bowling" as its brand name in 1962. From that point onwards AMF Bowling Centers, Inc., has been devoted to providing high quality entertainment experiences through their worldwide network of facilities which include amusement parks, restaurants, bars, arcades and more. As a result of merger activity with Bowlero Corp., the current leading operator of modern bowling centers throughout North America since 2013, today there are over 300 Amf Bowling Centers globally creating tailored entertainment experiences across many countries around the globe.
