The Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC) is a not-for-profit, teaching and research facility located in the city of Hackensack, New Jersey. Founded in 1888 as the Bergen County Hospital by visionary business and civic leaders who had an eye to improving healthcare services for all citizens, HUMC quickly established itself as a leader in medical science.
