The Cooper Health System
The Cooper Health System is a comprehensive regional health care system located in Camden, New Jersey. It was founded in 1887 as the nation's first multi-specialty group practice that integrated hospital and physician services. Over the years, Cooper has grown to become an academic medical center that offers exceptional quality services to patients throughout Southern New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The system includes three hospitals: Cooper University Hospital, Virtua Voorhees Hospital, and MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper; impressive primary care networks; world renowned specialty care practices; urgent cares centers; outpatient surgery centers; home health services; fitness centers, diagnostic imaging facilities and more. Additionally, Cooper Medical School of Rowan University was established in 2012 with the goal of training the next generation of physicians.
