Schwan’s Shared Services, LLC is an American food distribution company headquartered in Minnesota. Founded in 1952 by Marvin Schwan as a home delivery service of ice cream and frozen foods, the family-owned business has grown to become one of the largest frozen food companies in the United States. The company provides products ranging from pizza and burgers to seafood and vegetables that are distributed through retail stores and direct-to-consumer deliveries. Their core brands include Red Baron Pizza, Tony’s Pizza, Freschetta Pizza and Mrs Smith's Pies among others. In 2017, Schwan’s was acquired by Conagra Brands Inc., creating one of the largest food companies in North America with over 50 brands across various categories such as frozen meals, snacks, desserts etc., sold under its umbrella of Schwan's Company divisions including Schwan's Food Service Inc., Schwans Home Delivery Inc., Ganahl Lumber Company Inc., Stouffer Foods Corporation etc.
