Reynolds American Inc
Reynolds American Inc is an American tobacco company which was formed back in 2004, after the merger of two of the largest tobacco companies in the United States - R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corporation. The new company manufactures different brands of cigarettes including Salem, Winston, Camel, Pall Mall, Doral and more. They also produce smokeless products such as snus and moist snuff under brands like Grizzly and Kodiak. In 2020, its parent company British American Tobacco (BATS) purchased the remaining 57% stake in Reynolds American Inc for $54 billion which made BATS one of the world’s biggest sellers of cigarettes by volume. Today, Reynolds American Inc continues to be a leader in its industry with annual revenue exceeding $10 billion.
