Resortquest International Inc. is a hospitality and vacation rental company founded in 1997. It is one of the largest management companies in the vacation rental industry, managing over 30,000 properties across North America, Europe, and parts of South America. Resortquest initially operated under two divisions: Vacation Rentals by Owner (VRBO) and Resort Management Services (RMS). VRBO provided online marketing services for property owners while RMS offered hotel-like services such as housekeeping and maintenance to its customers. In 1999, Resortquest added a third division called Homeowner Relationship Group, which provides financial stewardship and property operations expertise to homeowners who have chosen to partner with them. The company has undergone several strategic acquisitions since then including acquiring Elliott Realty Group in 2009 and Wyndham Vacation Rentals in 2018; this acquisition positioned them as one of the world's largest vacation rental providers with over 100 destinations worldwide.
