ProHealth Care is a comprehensive healthcare system located in southeast Wisconsin. The organization includes five hospitals, one long-term care facility, more than 25 primary and specialty care health centers and clinics, home healthcare services and retail pharmacy services. ProHealth Care was founded in 1913 as Waukesha Memorial Hospital. Over the years it has grown to include additional hospitals such as Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital (1987), Community Memorial Hospital (1989) and Mukwonago Medical Center (2003). In 2012 ProHealth Care developed its own medical group enabling them to provide clinical excellence across their integrated healthcare network while providing accessible quality care for individuals throughout communities within southeast Wisconsin. Today, the organization serves close to 250,000 people annually with over 566 physicians representing 50 different specialties on staff; making them one of the largest employers in Waukesha County with over 4,200 staff members.
