Ochsner Clinic Foundation is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system which was founded in 1942 by Alton Ochsner, MD. It operates more than thirty hospitals and specialty centers throughout Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. With approximately 25,000 employees, 800 employed physicians and over 1,500 affiliated physicians providing care for over two million people annually; it is one of the largest multi-specialty health delivery systems in the U.S. Serving southeast Louisiana for almost 75 years, Ochsner Clinic Foundation has made considerable investments to improve patient care through technological advances such as medical imaging services (MRI & CT), robotic technology and state-of-the-art surgical suites.
