NYU Winthrop Hospital is an academic medical center located in Mineola, New York. It was founded in 1896 as the Nassau Hospital by a group of local citizens who were concerned about providing health care to their community and has since grown into a 591-bed teaching hospital affiliated with NYU Langone Health. The facility provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, including cardiology, oncology, gastroenterology, neurology/neurosurgery, orthopedics/sports medicine, women’s health and radiation therapy.
