Navicent Health
Navicent Health is a not-for-profit healthcare system founded as the Medical Center of Central Georgia in 1895. As the region’s only designated Level I Trauma center and with facilities ranging from main medical centers to cancer institutes, ambulatory care centers, home health care and hospice agencies, Navicent Health serves multiple counties across central and south Georgia. The organization employs almost 10,000 individuals and its 637 licensed beds make it one of the largest health systems in the state of Georgia. Formerly known as The Medical Center of Central Georgia (MCCG), Navicent Health officially changed their name on July 13th 2017 to reflect a more expansive scope of healthcare services offered throughout central and south Georgia. MCCG had been providing exceptional patient care for 136 years before this transformation took place.
