Montefiore Medical Center
Montefiore Medical Center is an award-winning academic medical center and the University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine. It was established in 1884 by two visionary philanthropists, Moses and Clara Montefiore, who envisioned a hospital that would provide quality healthcare regardless of race, gender, or religion. Today, this revolutionary spirit continues to guide Montefiore Medical Center as it has grown into one of America’s most comprehensive health systems with 11 hospitals and more than 250 outpatient sites. With nearly 1 million patient visits per year, Montefiore provides multidisciplinary care across the continuum from primary care to tertiary and quaternary level services anchored in population health management. The core values of excellence, respect for all people, continuous learning and improvement, collaboration and partnership drive their mission to provide outstanding patient care throughout the communities they serve.
