The Irvine Company is a privately owned real estate investment company in the United States. Founded by James Irvine I in 1864, it began as a 25,000 acre ranch of land located in New Port Beach in California. As the 20th century progressed, the company grew to become one of the leading providers of real estate products and services in Southern California.
