Ingles Markets Inc is an American regional supermarket chain operating in the southeastern United States. The company was founded by Robert Ingle in 1963, and it has grown to become one of the largest regional grocery store chains in the country. As of 2020, they had 217 retail supermarkets with two distribution centers located throughout Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Alabama. Their stores offer a wide selection of national brand products as well as private label goods under their own brands such as Laura Lynn, Top Care and Full Circle. They also provide a range of services such as pharmacies, fuel centers, bank branches and floral departments. In addition to its retail operations, Ingles Markets Inc owns several manufacturing facilities that produce dairy products for both internal use and external sale in other stores.
