Horizon Air Industries, Inc.
Horizon Air Industries, Inc. is an American regional airline based in Seattle, Washington and serving the Pacific Northwest region of the United States since 1981. The company was founded by two friends who shared a passion for aviation—Fred Felleman and Jack George—when they noticed a gap between commercial flights being offered in different parts of the country. They decided to create Horizon Air to fill this need and expand service to major regions throughout the West Coast. Since then, Horizon has grown to serve 46 cities across five states including Alaska, Arizona, California, Oregon and Washington with its fleet of over 70 aircrafts operating more than 400 daily departures. In addition to being one of Alaska Airlines’ sister companies within its holding corporation — Alaska Air Group — Horizon also recently joined forces with long-time partner SkyWest Airlines as part of SkyWest's new multi-airline model under its umbrella brand named Go2Networks. With these various advancements, Horizon has been able to establish itself as a leader in regional air transportation services offering reliable flights combined with competitive fares for all passengers traveling throughout the Western US states at any time within their designated airports network
