Healtheast Care System
Healtheast Care System is a nonprofit, multi-specialty healthcare system serving the greater Minneapolis area. Founded in 1986 by four churches as Bethesda Lutheran Home for the Aged and Ill, Healtheast has grown to become one of the largest healthcare systems in Minnesota with 9 hospitals and more than 65 specialty care clinics. In 1961, Bethesda Lutheran Home incorporated in St. Paul to become Bethesda Health Services. Two years later it merged with United Hospitals of St. Paul and Minneapolis to form HealthEast Medical Center, which went on to merge with several other organizations in Ramsey County over time to create Healtheast Care System we know today. Since its founding, Healtheast has been dedicated to providing high quality medical care at an affordable rate while also focusing on community outreach initiatives; they've made it their mission to bring peace of mind not only through physical health but mental health services as well.
