Gwinnett Hospital System, founded in 2019, is a not-for-profit healthcare provider with hospitals located in Lawrenceville and Duluth, Georgia. It is the largest health system in the Gwinnett County area providing medical care to nearly 550,000 people. The system includes two full-service acute care hospitals (Gwinnett Medical Center-Lawrenceville and Gwinnett Medical Center-Duluth) on separate campuses with combined beds totaling over 500; an ambulatory surgery center; Skilled Nursing Facilities; Imaging Centers; a free standing Emergency Care Center and other clinical services throughout the region. In addition, Gwinnett Hospital System operates state accredited chest pain center, stroke certified hospitals and Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit that provides regionally leading pediatric neonatology services. It also supports extensive clinical research programs in areas such as cardiology, oncology, orthopedics and neurology among many others.
