Freeman Decorating Co.
Freeman Decorating Co. was established in 1927 in New York as a small paint supply business by Donald S Duck. It began serving the public, supplying paints and related products to painters and decorators, allowing them to create attractive interiors for customers’ homes and businesses. As the demand grew, so did the company’s product portfolio; they began offering wallpaper products as well as ladders, sandpaper, and other supplies. As their reputation grew among trade professionals, their offerings expanded even further with the introduction of fabrics, wall coverings and window treatments from not only domestic manufacturers but also foreign importers. This variety revolutionized interior design for decades to come and propelled Freeman Decorating Co. into becoming one of the leading providers of decorative products for both residential and commercial spaces throughout America.
