Fox Corp
Fox Corporation is a publicly traded American mass media company that was formed in 2019 through the acquisition of the majority stake in Twenty-First Century Fox by Disney. Founded as Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation in 1915, the company established itself as one of the six major Hollywood studios and diversified its portfolio to include television, music, and publishing over time. After selling most of its entertainment assets to The Walt Disney Company in March 2019, Fox Corporation refocused on news, sports and broadcast television businesses such as FOX News Channel, FOX Business Network and financial news division FOX Sports Media Group. The Company also owns national broadcast networks such as FOX Broadcasting Company (FOX). Through its subsidiary companies, Fox Corp generates revenue from advertising fees, cable subscription fees and other sources including content licensing deals.
