Estee Lauder
The Estée Lauder Companies is a global leader in prestige beauty, with its products sold in over 150 countries. The company originated from Estée and Joseph Lauder's vision to bring “the best of the world” to their customers. Estée Lauder began as a cosmetics business founded by Mrs. Estée Lauder and her husband, Joseph Lauder, in 1946. They developed four skincare products such as "Youth Dew," an innovative bath oil that doubled both as a bath scent and skin lotion. Through strategic acquisitions and investments, product innovation, and inspired marketing campaigns, the company soon expanded into fragrances and makeup, becoming one of the first-generation multibrand luxury companies. In 1995 it acquired M·A·C which has become one of its leading brands today. As of 2021 they own well known beauty brands including La Mer, Origins, Bumble & Bumble, Aveda and Jo Malone London amongst many others globally renowned brand names reaching more than 350 million consumers around the world.
