Dungarvin Group, Inc. is a nationwide provider of residential and employment services to people with disabilities in the United States. The company was founded in 1976 as Special Accommodations & Residence Enterprises (SARE), a small business providing intermediate care facility (ICF) services from its first two locations in Minnesota and Iowa. Over time, SARE expanded to offer other specialized residential service offerings, eventually leading to the restructuring of the business into Dungarvin LLC in 2002. After establishing itself across 15 states by 2007, Dungarvin LLC became part of a larger umbrella organization through increasing public interest acquisitions, becoming what is now known as Dungarvin Group, Inc. – offering integrated support solutions for individuals with disabilities or disadvantages throughout 25 states and over 200 programs within those states. Today, the non-profit operates under an operating philosophy that focuses on independence and being active members of their respective communities while receiving supports tailored towards individual needs for optimal living experiences
