Crozer-keystone Health System
Crozer-Keystone Health System is a non-profit health care system consisting of six hospitals, medical centers and numerous primary care/specialty practices located throughout Delaware and Pennsylvania's Brandywine Valley. Founded in 1995 as the merger of Crozer Health System (Est. 1906) and Keystone Health System (Est. 1910), it is one of the largest employers in Delaware County, PA with more than 6,000 employees including over 800 physicians on staff. The mission of Crozer-Keystone is to deliver quality compassionate healthcare that meets or exceeds national standards through its network of hospitals, physician offices, outpatient facilities and other specialty services. With an emphasis on keeping people healthy, they offer a full range of advanced services such as cardiac surgery & rehabilitation, oncology/hematology/radiology “centers of excellence” emergency medicine, neurosurgery & neurology programs as well as maternity & pediatric services just to name a few. As part of their commitment to quality patient care and community involvement they have developed multiple educational initiatives for patients and families that cover topics from diet & nutrition to chronic illness management programs and ambulance rides for financial need among others.
