Children's Medical Center of Dallas
The Children's Medical Center of Dallas is an internationally-renowned pediatric health care organization dedicated to transforming the health of children through excellence in patient care, research and education. It first opened its doors in 1913. The hospital’s level IV neonatal intensive care unit was established by the Texas Department of Health as a regional resource for premature newborns from across North Texas. Today, Children's Medical Center is comprised of three hospitals (Children's Health System), multiple ambulatory centers and several free-standing outpatient facilities providing comprehensive pediatric health services to patients throughout North Texas and beyond. The medical center provides more than one million office visits each year covering nearly every specialty in pediatrics such as cardiology, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, pulmonology and surgery. In addition to the core specialties offered at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas there are programs specializing in trauma, radiology/imaging services, gastrointestinal conditions cancer treatment and much more.
