Childnet Youth & Family Services, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Santa Clarita, California. It was founded in 1970 with the mission to help create a safe and positive online experience for all kids and families. Through its programs, Childnet initiatives include education, enforcement, prevention resources, youth leadership activities and parental training to support those using the internet and digital technology. In addition to serving individuals through direct services such as counseling, crisis intervention, personal service coordination and an evidence-based intensive family treatment program for at-risk youth (ages 6-17), Childnet also provides public awareness campaigns designed to reduce cyberbullying incidents in schools. The organization works closely with many partners including law enforcement agencies throughout the states of California and Washington on their numerous initiatives.
