Aultman Health Foundation
The Aultman Health Foundation was founded in 1969 by Dr. C.C. Aultman and his wife, Nelle Cochran Aultman, as the charitable arm of their health system in Canton, Ohio. The original purpose of the foundation was to provide healthcare and community outreach to the city of Canton and surrounding areas, with a focus on providing care for those who couldn’t afford it themselves. Over time, the organization has expanded its reach throughout northeast Ohio, offering advanced medical technology, specialized services from accredited physicians and researchers, and preventative care to help people lead healthier lives. Today, the foundation continues to support research projects as well as classes on wellness topics such as nutrition education that are open to anyone in their local community. Furthermore, through generous donations from individuals and corporations alike, they are able to extend vital financial assistance for patients who need it most—to ensure everyone has access to quality healthcare without worry or fear of cost.
