Anheuser-Busch
Anheuser-Busch is an American brewing company founded in 1876 by German-born Adolphus Busch. Initially based in St. Louis, Missouri, Anheuser-Busch was one of America’s first companies to produce a lager beer. By the late 19th century it was the largest brewery in the United States and remained so until 2008 when it merged with Belgium's InBev to create Anheuser-Busch InBev, one of world’s largest brewers. The merger made Anheuser-Busch InBev a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). Today, Anheuser-Busch InBev produces more than 200 beers including many of its flagship brands such as Budweiser and Michelob Ultra. The company has operations across North America, South America, Europe and Asia Pacific covering over 25 countries around the globe.
